Week 14 : Finally

Hello Everyone! Finally we have come to the end right of a very tiring week and so many things that happened for this passing weeks. So now we have presented our video during the edutechnovation day. I must say that everything has been quite tiring and i never thought that i manage to go through this whole semester. Everyone did a very good job especially regarding the video presentatio. It was very fun to watch all those informative video. Congratulation to all the winning team. You guys did a great job!? Well as for our little sofea. Eventhough we did not win at all, it was great knowing that the mesages has been delivered quite successfully. And after months of working hard with the presentation, we finally be able to say that we made it. I'm going to miss this class for the whole semester. Everyone has been very great and fun to be with. Hopefully we will be a ble to keep it up next time.

Week 13 : Preparation for our final week

This week, we had no class since all our lecturers wanted for us to finish with ourfinal video as for our preparation for Edutechnovation day. What is Edutechnovation day? It is actually the final week for us to prepare for our final assignments and presentation. During the day which is on the 14th week. We need to present for our poster and at the same time we need to create a poster and pitch for it during our video assessment.

However i still go to the faculty to discuss about Sofea, my small character as a little girl. I will narrate as her and we will present her as the one who ride on the public transport. We spent the whole day to do the discussion about sofea and do our narration. It was fun though. Playing the part as sofea. We had a great time together. I must admit that my team member are all good with their part. We almost finished with our video. It is just that we need to add the part of Sofea.

Well i guess this all my reflections for today. till the next time i will more.

Week 12

Hello again Everyone! How was your day? Like what we had done last week, we just presented again our video. In this class, Dr Khalid briefly explained about the video that we need to make in order to make it more interesting with the change of scene and the include of amazing audio in our video. We did had a great time making our video far more interesting with few new songs and amazing shades. In the video, we decide to have a small children with her mother as our narrator. The little girl will absolutely walks with her mother with the Public Transport and during the whole journey, she would learn so many new things from the people around her and experienced few things that would change her view the next time she ride on a public transport. Why do we choose a small girl as our main character?

This is because we wanted to show to teach the young children as well about the usage of public transport. Thus we felt that the other children at same age would be suitable to be our main character. We felt that putting the girl in the same situation as well would help everyone to feel the same thing as well. It is far more convenient for children to learn from other children as their curiosity level are just the same.

Overal, i think it is very important for us to give the target audience what they need. Instead by giving them what we want for them. Am i right? Hopefully the final of the video will turn out well and we will be able to deliver our moral values well.

Week 11 : Raw materials

So for this week, our beloved lecturers asked for all of us to bring the raw materials for our video. What is a raw materials? Raw materials is materials that we used our progressed for the video. Well many group mates haven't done the raw materials yet. Some of them only presented the storyboard that they have finalized after discussing for quite long time.

Our raw materials is a trailer that we created just to give everyone a mere idea on how we wanted our video to look like. We compiled a few scenes that we felt suitable for us to include in the video. We choose the scene of pregnant lady, the OKU people and the thievery. We made into a trailer just because we wanted everyone to a short view on what we wanted to do. It was great to see everyone was rather enjoyed watching our video.

10th Wekk : I still can't believe it

Hello Everyone!

It is great and an honor to write again on this social media regarding what i felt about the whole event. Basically for this week, we had a quite big occurrence which is that we have presented our first own storyboard regarding our Video presentation!. After months of struggling and discussing among each other, we agreed upon The do's and don't's on Public Transport because we wanted to teach the public especially the young one about the safety when we ride on public transportation. However, as well recalled again what we had done during our whole activity in shooting this video. It is actually has been quite Topsy turmoil.

I had a great time with my friends,before we had our presentation on our story board, we actually did an outdoor video shooting at few places such as at KL Central, Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and we even asked for the permission from the bus driver of UKM to use their Rapid bus. It has been a pretty long week for all of us but we managed to shoot the video successfully. Thus, it is become much more easier for all of when we presented our idea in the form of a storyboard because we had a clear view on what we wanted to put on the video. Thus, our arrangement become much clearer as we already shoot almost 70% of the video. It was great indeed as we all works in a good teammateto ensure that this video is a success.

9th Week : Sayyyyy Cheeseee

Hello Everyone! We meet again! I hope everyone had a great week. So you must have been wondering right what's with the title? Why did i put the title sayy cheese? Well for your information, today's lecture is all about photography. Wow ! How cool is that right? Dr Fariza Khalid taught us about the use of a camera in taking pictures at different angle and shots.

Too bad this week i did not attend the class because i have a program at Kota Bharu.
Since before this i do not know how to take pictures quite well. She taught us on  how to do focus with the camera on the target object and putting it on blur at the back picture. But for us to learn better, she told that she'd take on a trip at Putrajaya so that we could have a real experience on how to take beautiful pictures with different shots and angle. Cant wait for that. Well until now my dear friends. Will be back and write soon!

8th week: Video

Hello again everyone! How was your holiday?  bet everyone must be having a great time at home right?

So for this week, again Dr Khalid taught us about the use of video in our class. He taught us about the medium that we can use to edit our video. Have you ever heard of movie maker? Well i did learn about movie maker ever since i was in my foundation. Most people use movie maker in editing the video and it is widely used for quite some time. Our group members also agreed upon using the movie maker to create the video and i would say, it was pretty easy to use it as we could even edit our voice projection as well from there. I must say that it is very convenient to use the video. I had a great time editing the video and the usage of the voice projection as well. It was very easy to use the shading and other applications on the video.

Since we are required to shoot about the public transports, we did our recording at few places. Our group mate decided that we should do our video shooting at KL Central whereby we went and shoot for the Commuter over there. It was fun to the recording in a moving vehicle and shooting the situation in it. We implement the situation of the do's and the don't's on the public transport as we wanted the public especially the younger children that we must be aware of the situation when using the public transport. This is because, despite we ride on public transport everyday, we are still bind to the rules and we must follow it frequently.

7th week : Online class

So Dr Rosseni decide to conduct an online class sice it is going to be a holiday. It is very kind of her to let us have a break and let us go back early to our hometown.

However, our team member still dicussing about our storyboard in the social media, We choose to discuss it further on whatsapp group. It is much more convenient that way. We decided to choose the awareness on using the Public Transport and young children as our target group. I think wee need to discuss it further on  how we wanted to convey our story board. Well, this is to give them more knowledge thus i think it is necessary for us to discuss it further regarding it. But for now, Happy holiday dear friends! See you guys next week!

The 6th week

So for the sixth week, Dr Khalid conducted our class and briefly explained about video. For our class today, Dr Khalid explained to us about video. He taught us about multimedia and the use of it in our daily life. I was very excited and thrilled at the same time. So we need to createa video for our final project? He explained about the audio, lighting and the contrasting colour that we need to put on our final video. Wow how cool is that?

However, as all of our group members agreed upon. We decided to come out with the interesting topic which is the awareness in using the public transport. Of course in every video, we must have a target audience right? As for our video, we decided to implement the awareness of public transport to the young children, Such the age of 7-10 years old.

Why do we choose young children? Because we feel that children at this age are still learning about the outside world and they are still lack of the idea how does the public transport actually affected their life.

Dr Khalid gave us sometime for us to discuss further on how we would like to create our video. It wa fun to create it with my group member. They are super cool.

Week 5! Traditional Media

So for this week lecture is by our favourite lecturer, Dr Fariza Khalid about traditional media. As we recalled back during the older days, there hasn't been any technology related to the technology such as screen projector, the LCD and other tools. Basically, we depends hundred percent on the use of the whiteboard during the older days, however, through the years as the technology is developing, we begin to be aware of the use of LCD projector and online presentations. 

Do you think it is necessary for us to replace the traditional whiteboard with LCD  in our teaching method? As a future educator, this question keep on playing in the back of my mind whether it is necessary for a teacher to neglect the use of whiteboard and use the LCD projector instead.

However, looking through the two perspectives, we can conclude that the whiteboard also functions well especially in helping to the teachers when they need to deliver it immediately. The teachers could write it on the whiteboard as soon as possible. But, the LCD also plays an important part as well for the teachers in teaching the students when they need a clear view regarding the visual and audio presentation. So both plays an important roles in helping the teacher to deliver teaching aids to the students.

Week Four! Storyboard!

 I still could not fathom the fact that we are already in our week four. How times flies in this class, Am i right? During the class, we had a brief instructions by our loving Dr.Rosseni about the purpose and function of education and technology. We must create a short video about any kind of topics but informative. The video must be for about ten minutes if i'm not mistaken. The hidden message must not just about the animation but also needs to reach the people who watched the video. That is why, Dr. Rosseni gave us for about half an hour to crate a story board on our video. What is a storyboard? Well, a story board is our own simple sketches consisting of the scenes that we wanted to include in our video.

Our group, Group 6 decided to create a short video based on the do's and don'ts in public transport. The main objective make the people out there to see the main problems as we use the public transport. After that, we presented the storyboard to the whole class and surprisingly, we got nasi lemak from our lecturer, Dr. Rosseni. Wow how lucky we are. Thank You Dr! The class was fun actually. It has been a long time since i sketches. This kinda rekindle back the old flame. Tehee as i would say. Well, that is all for this week. Next week, there will be another new post from me. Third Reflections! I COULDT make it :

The third week, i did not attend my class. I tried my best to be there but i had to be in PUSANIKA for the pitching competition. I was expecting myself to arrive the class at 9.00 after the competition but i still could not make it. My own regrets. However, as i figure out from my friends about our tutorials on particular day. They told me that Dr. Rosseni bring them cake! oh my! i envy them all. I wished i could be there. They even told me that Dr.Rosseni showed the videos from the previous batch which means the viedeo of our senior in Education technology! How cool is that?! I even tried to watch them online on youtube, on how they implement the whole thing that they had learned through the whole semester. The importance of putting a good audio and the clear audacity are important. We must know how to use different angle when creating the whole scene and how we must put the close up in the video. I look up into it as i watched the video. Well, i'm running of idea for this week but ill will try to write longer in my next reflection. Until now, Asssalamualaikum. Bye. 

My second Reflections: Meeting Dr Rosseni

Assalamualaikum and Hello Everyone,

This is my first class with Dr.Rosseni. I was actually quite nervous to be in this class since we will be assessed by three lecturers.! I was happy to see Dr. Fariza again as when i was in my first year, she taught us education and technology. Basically, i am fully adapt with her teaching method where i could understand how she worked. The way she conducted her class and teach her students basically, i'm adapted to it.

 Dr.Rosseni as i first lay my eyes on her is very demure and nice. She speak softly and try her best to ensure that the students able to comprehend with her teaching methods. While Dr.Fariza teach us about the basic five domains of instructional technology, she listened as well despite she is already an expert with the subject. The five domains that i learned from the instructional technology is design, development, utilization, management and evaluation. Each of the terms are related to the how the basic instruction that we must have in technology. Something i actually still trying to figure in my course. Oh by the way, in this class, i learned further on how to register for the group division. My groupmate is Fatin, Hanisah, Engku, Nur Hafizah and also Halimatun. We were very excited to work together. I'm hoping to give a full commitment in the group work. Hopefully we will make this work. InsyaAllah. Okay then, this is all for now. My First Reflections!

Assalamualaikum and Hello Everyone!
Hello guys! This is my first post in the Education Technology class. During the first class, i missed the time frame and i did not attend class as i figure out about the class too late. However i asked my friend on how does the class was like. As i figure it out, i couldn't help it but to feel slightly happy  as we have to write our own weekly reflections. This is to help us to understand the course much better through the whole semester. As a future educator, i understand that we need to be prepared in our teaching materials. It does not just about the teacher teach the students based on the hands on paper but we need to create a different approach to the students. For instance, we need to involve the students with the ICT in order to prepare them with this techno world.
